Most Voted Video Winners Get their Extraordinary Prizes!

The other two consolation prize winners of the Extraordinary Online Video Contest dropped by Thunderbird Resorts Head Office.

A close fight between the two, Shobert Hallig received 917 votes for his video on being a Filipino; while Caylene Paras got 911 votes for her music video featuring a song she composed that talks about her being Extraordinary.

Thunderbird Resorts Chief Sales & Marketing Officer Felbin Soto awarded Shobert and Caylene with the P5k cash prize, P10k worth of Thunderbird Resorts GC and the Enjoy Philippines Card.

A Night to Remember: Jose Mari Chan performs at the Event Center, Thunderbird Resorts Rizal

Truly an experience of timeless romance last April 15, 2011, the crowd at Thunderbird Resorts Rizal's Event Center was brought down memory lane as balladeer Jose Mari Chan serenaded them with his classics and hits.

Jose Mari Chan sang his most loved songs such as “Tell me your Name”, "Please be Careful with My Heart", “Beautiful Girl” and many more.

Bringing along his charms and wit, the singer and songwriter shared not only his the hit songs but as well as jokes and funny stories in between sets.

The audience laughed at and loved his humorous spiels. Such a revelation that aside from being a crooner, Jose Mari Chan is a comic himself.

Then, making it more an intimate concert, Jose Mari Chan went down the stage to be up close with his fans.

And to cap the night, Jose Mari Chan graced an autograph signing session. Fans & guests alike lined up for the chance to have their CDs signed and for photo-op too!

Love and romance was left in the air even as the concert ended. Surely this was one night that everyone will keep in their hearts, to remember and reminisce.

Bloggers Unite for a fun-filled Bloggers Fest!

Held last April 16, 2011, Thunderbird Resorts hosted this year’s Bloggers Fest – an activity-filled day that includes talks and workshops with about 200 blogger attendees from various categories. Azrael Coladilla explains on manilabloggers.blogspot.com, “The objective of the event is to have a venue for free mentorship on blogging and as well as networking with Filipino bloggers and participating companies.”

To share knowledge, advises and tips to fellow bloggers on the first half of the program were Azrael Coladilla of Azrael's Merryland Blog on "Blogging 101"; Micaela Rodriguez of Micamyx.com on "Sharing your story through personal blogging"; Jonel Uy of Blogger Manila on "Blogging and Writing with SEO in mind"; Antonio Carranza JR of PusangKalye.net on "Photo Blogging Essentials".

Bloggers Flow Galindez and Omar Itay kept the audience awake and energetic with their witty spiels and jokes as moderators of the event.
