ZestAir flies to Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point, La Union


As part of Thunderbird Resorts continued efforts to improve services and provide guests with more travel options, the five-star hotel of the North have recently partnered with Zest Airways, Inc. (ZestAir).

Starting August 6, 2010, getting to Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point will no longer be much of a chore – it's a 50-minute flight away from Manila via ZestAir which will fly three times a week to San Fernando Domestic Airport in La Union.

For its launch, ZestAir offers introductory one-way fare to San Fernando, La Union for only Php1,188.00, all-in. Available this August 2010 with travel period from August 6 to September 30, 2010.

Opening this gateway is also a means to boost tourism in the province and help turn communities into travel destinations.

The Mediterranean-inspired property of Thunderbird Resorts is in the peninsula of Poro Point in San Fernando, La Union. Already becoming a favorite among tourists, the hotel reminiscent of the Santorini Island in Greece is nestled on a scenic cliff, overlooking the sandy beaches of the South China Sea.
